The Power of the Book

Eposide 76

Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, "I have found the Book of the Law in the temple of the LORD." He gave it to Shaphan, who read it. Then Shaphan the secretary informed the king, "Hilkiah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king. II King 22:8;10

Confrontation with the Word forces all of us to make a decision, will we ignore it, bury it, discard it and put it out of our minds or will we hear it, allow it to change us and align ourselves with God’s purpose. The choice is ours.
